Blender control rig
Phantom Assassin Persona control rig
Built to the same standard as the Mars rig: the Persona's game skeleton is never changed, the rig drives it through constraints, and one .blend holds everything an animator needs. Her glaive has one Grip per way she holds it, and her dagger can move between sheath, hand and world.
- Requires
- Blender 5.2
- Updated
- Size
- 47.5 MB
- Control rig with its own sidebar tab, button picker and picture picker
- About 13 of the Persona's game animations and a pose library
- The Battle Brawlers game camera, to see a move as players will
- An animator's guide of about 21 pages, in English and Vietnamese
Rig features
FK and IK that never jump
Arms and legs switch between FK and IK with buttons that match the other set to the pose first.
Glaive and dagger
The glaive has an Idle and a Fight grip; the dagger moves between sheath, hand and world, with a Throw grip.
Hair, cloth and armor
Chains for the hair and cloth and controls for the armor plates, in their own groups.
Mirror a pose
Controls follow Blender's mirror rules, so Copy Pose and Paste Pose Flipped work on the whole body.
Two pickers
Buttons laid out like the body, and a picture of the Persona with a box on every control.
Pose library
Poses taken from the game animations, ready to apply, apply flipped or blend.
- 1
Get the rig on Gumroad: one download holds the .blend and the guide in English and Vietnamese.
- 2
Open the file in Blender 5.2. Choose Allow Execution so the sidebar tab can run; the rig itself works without it.
- 3
Press N and open the PA Rig tab: start from a game animation or a pose.
- 4
Animate only the coloured controls, at 30 fps from frame 0, one action per move, facing the Front view.
- 5
Save and send the .blend back: the move goes into the game from it.
What you get
All hero models, textures and some animations belong to Dota 2 and Valve Corporation. Non-commercial fan project.
