Meet Rinya
Rinya deals heavy damage with very little health to back it up. She wins by never being where the enemy aims.
Every Brawler starts from a Dota hero and leaves with a new kit and a new name. The first one grew out of Drow Ranger in her Dread Retribution Arcana and became Rinya: rin, biting cold, and ya, night.

High damage, low health, always moving
Rinya is a damage dealer, and she was designed around a trade: heavy damage for very little health, 210 where Mars has 250. She cannot win a straight exchange of blows, so her kit gives her ways to never be there for one: a dash nothing can hit, a shadow to swap places with, and a vanish that breaks every stun.
Played well, she is never caught. One mistake and she is gone.
Every skill has a job
- Black Arrow (M1): steady damage. Hold to keep firing toward the cursor. Every hit fills her Energy, so a Rinya who keeps landing arrows reaches her ultimate sooner.
- Frost Piercer (M2): the big shot, and the way out. She charges in place, then fires an arrow through every enemy in its path. The first one is frozen and knocked back, the others are slowed, and the recoil slides Rinya away from the fight she just started.
- Shadow Step (Space): the dodge. A dash in the direction she is moving, during which nothing can hurt her, with an arrow fired toward the cursor on the way. Every dodge is also an attack.
- Shadow Twin (Q): twice the arrows, and a second escape. Her black shadow stands where she sends it and copies her Black Arrow and Frost Piercer shots. Press Q again to swap places with it, even past a wall.
- Frostbite Trap (E): control of the ground. The next enemy to step on it is sealed in ice, and the frost left behind slows enemies around it. Traps guard her back while she shoots and punish whoever chases her.
- Frostveil (R): the answer to getting caught. It breaks every stun, root, freeze and slow at once, even while she is stunned, then she vanishes and runs faster.
- Dread Retribution (F): the turnaround. Her ultimate. For a few seconds every skill is ready again right after she uses it, and enemies near her flee in fear.

How she plays
Rinya rewards aim and positioning. Stay at range, keep moving, and save Shadow Step or Frostveil for the moment someone dives on you. Next to a tank who holds the front line, she is the one who wins the fight.
Every number on her hero page comes straight from the game.
